Love and history, past and present are skillfully intertwined in this delightful romantic film. An art collector searching for the origins of his new exhibition centerpiece uncovers an old, secret love story and unexpectedly falls for the granddaughter of the owner of this sentimentally valuable piece.

George Kordellas was born in Kozani, Macedonia/Greece in 1959. He has worked professionally in the film and television industry since 1981. He was an assistant director for 10 years and collaborated with famous greek directors: Pavlos Tassios, Nikos Vergitsis, Apostolos Doxiadis, Costas Ferris, George Panousopoulos, Andreas Thomopoulos and Panos Glykofrydis. He has directed various greek television series, including: Anastasia (MEGA, 1993-94), Absent (MEGA, 1995-96), Tzivaeri (MEGA, 1997-98), Seagull’s Fluttering (ET1, 1998-99), Vendetta (MEGA, 1999-00), Trojan Horse (ANT1, 2000-01), Dancing in the Silence (ALPHA, 2002-03) as well as Secrets and Mistakes (ALPHA, 2003-04). He also directed six episodes of the fiction series, Quicksand (ALPHA, 2005), and 10 episodes of the fiction series, Loafing and Camouflage (NET, 2006-2007).

George has also directed single episodes for various series, including Anatomy of a Murder 2 (ANT1, 1994), Extreme Stories (ANT1, 1994-95), A Night Like Tonight (ANT1, 1996), Mystery Stories (ANT1, 2007) as well as Stories from the Opposite Side (ANT1, 2007-2008). He also directed a television feature, a music television series, episodes in an archaeology documentary series, documentaries of in a tv series and music theater.

George taught cinematography seminars at the New Smyrna Municipality (1991-92) and supervised the practice of the students in 16 mm filmmaking. As a lyricist, he has collaborated with many famous composers and singers. He also wrote lyrics based on Sophocle’s Antigone (the “parodos” and “stasima” parts of the play) for the Youth Scene of the National Theatre of North Greece (based in Thessaloniki) directed by T.Rantzos (2009).
